One night it was dark and windy. Then I
heard a noise in my closet. I looked in my
closet. I saw a gray tail, brown eyed thirteen
foot tall monster! I woke up early to look for a
jar, but I could not find a jar. Then I had to
go to school. I thought about where a jar
could be while I was at school. After school I
went home and I found a jar. I
set up a trap and caught the monster in the
jar. I took the monster to the museum
and a scientist looked at it. He said I was
famous. Then I went home. I told my mom and I
asked her if I could go tell my friends. My
mom said I could if I wanted to. So I told my
friends and my friends told their moms. |

I found my monster in my
sister’s room. She was pink with blue spots.
She had two eyes, two legs, and two arms. This is how I caught my
monster. I put out a trap on my floor. The
monster came to the trap and I caught her. She is nice now. She is my
pet. I have made a bed for her. She loves
it. She is so nice now. |

Once I was looking in my
closet and I saw a monster. He was pink,
red, and green. He had six legs and one eye.
He looked so creepy.
I did not know what to do with it. I
thought and I thought. Then I finally got
it. I took a jar and put it over it. Then I let it free in the
wild. The monster was not happy in the wild.
So I took it back. Then I made it a home.
Finally it was happy. |

One day I was watching TV. I heard a
knock on the door. I opened the door, but
nobody was there. So I closed the door. Then I
heard a knock on the door again. I knew it was
some prankster, so I just went outside. Then I
saw something. I followed it. It went into the
woods. Then it stopped. I tried to get as
better look at it. Finally I saw it. It was
green. It had black eyes.
My family was going on vacation for one
week, but I had to stay. I was wondering how I
was going to catch this thing. I knew a man
who did deals. I went to him. He said id I
gave him six wood planks he would give me
shrinking powder. I gave him the wood planks.
He gave me the shrinking powder. I found the
monster. I threw it at the monster. The
monster got smaller and smaller. I picked him
up and put him in a jar.
I was wondering what to do with it.
then I saw something in the back of his neck.
For some reason it was glowing. I pulled it
out. The monster started to calm down. It
became nicer. Then it became cuter. I decided
to keep it as a pet. |

One day a spaceship flew onto earth
and a monster came out of his UFO. He had
one huge eye. He was red. He had 20 arms. He
had 10 legs. Then the monster attacked the
city. Next the monster was breathing fire on
houses.
I put some bait in a giant jar. The
monster went inside the jar. I put on the
lid and the monster was trapped.
Once I had caught the monster I let
it live in my secret room. But them the
monster made a huge mess. But luckily in
this secret room I had a machine that could
clean a huge mess in a second. So I kept the
monster. |

I heard a knock at my bedroom door. I
peeked out my door. It was a monster! I put a
piece of wood on my door. Then the monster got
bigger and bigger. Then it got smaller and
smaller. I opened the door.
I yelled, “A monster!”
I jumped over it and ran downstairs! It
was blue and black. It looked like it had been
beaten up.
The monster was right behind me. I
grabbed a jar and ran behind it. I trapped it
with the jar. It tried to get out. It was
jumping up and down. I did not let it out.
I put it under my bed. I let it live
there. I feed it food. Sometimes I take it
out. |

One day I looked under my bed. And I
saw a monster! It was blue and he had purple
dots. He also had pink stripes.
I filled a jar full of berries. Then I
heard a crunching noise. It was the monster in
the jar eating the berries. I got the lid and
I caught the monster in the jar.
I grabbed the jar that the monster was
in and I went outside to the woods. I walked a
long ways into the woods. I opened the lid and
let the monster go. |

One night when it was quiet, I woke
up. I went to the bathroom and I heard a
noise. I looked everywhere. I didn’t see it
anywhere. I looked under the bed and I saw
the monster. It was big and purple.
After seeing the monster I quickly
made a trap. Then I made the monster follow
me. I caught him in the trap. But he got
out. So I went outside. A car came. I ran
across the road and the monster followed me.
The car hit the monster. The monster
couldn’t get up. I shrunk the monster. Then
the car went home. I placed the monster in a
jar.
When he woke up I asked him to help
me with my homework. He helped me. So I kept
him. He was happy because he had a new
friend. |

I found a monster under the bed. It was
pink. It had five eyes. It had four arms, ten
feet, one ear, ten legs, 100 clothes, 100
glasses, 101 pencils, and 1,200 hairs.
I looked all over my room for a jar. I
caught the monster in the jar. I put on the
lid. I had the monster.
I loved the monster. He liked playing
hide-and-seek. He always hid under the bed. We
played and played and played. |

One dark and scary night, I was
outside hunting for toads. As I was catching
a toad, I saw a monster was behind me. I
yelled for dad. Dad got his gun and shot at
the monster. Then I went away for a one day
vacation.
The next day the monster came back to
life. It raced to the plane station to meet
me. It wanted to be my friend.
I trained my monster. He can now do
tricks. I keep him a jar. He is my pet
monster. |

I wanted a cookie, so I went
downstairs. There were no cookies at all in
the cookie jar. Then I saw a monster. It
looked really tiny and it had four arms, ten
legs, and it was blue, pink, and yellow.
I looked in the cabinet and found some
cookies. I put them in my room. I waited and
waited. Then I saw the monster again. I put a
jar on it. I had caught the monster.
I took him to the woods. I went back
home. I never saw that monster again |

I found a monster under my bed. He is green.
It can fly. He is funny because he tells funny
jokes. He flies very fast. He likes to eat a hundred
things in a row. He likes to cuddle. He’s very
smart.
I will capture him with a jar. I will trick
him into the jar. Then I will put the lid on the
jar.
I will put him a cage. I will feed him and
give him water to drink. I will clean him and I dry
him. Then I keep him. |

Once upon a time there was a little boy
and a little girl. One night they were getting
ready for bed.
“I hear a sound,” said the little girl.
“It is a monster!” she cried. “It’s under my
bed. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!”
“It has two heads and six arms,” cried
the boy.
“Close the door,” the girl said “We
have to catch it.”
“We will have to sneak up on the
monster,” said the little boy.
They got a jar and started to sneak up
on the monster.
“We caught the monster,” said the girl.
“Let’s turn the jar into a home for the
monster,” said the girl.
“Good idea,” said the boy.
“Let’s paint the jar too,” said the
girl.
“How are we going to do that?” said the
boy
“I know,” said the girl. “I have
special paint.”
“OK,” said the boy.
So they painted the jar for the monster
and they kept the monster as a pet.
“So we now have a monster,” said the
girl. “Ya! We did it.” |

One day I was getting ready for bed.
Then I heard something scratching the door.
So I went to the door. But then I saw a
monster. The monster had eight eyes, one
head, two legs, and five arms. The monster
was red. The monster was chubby and fat. He
had very thick fur.
I went and grabbed a jar. Then I
quietly walked up behind the monster and put
the jar over his body. Finally I took him
back to my home.
After I played all my games with the
monster, I had to bring the monster home to
his family. The monster was very sad to
leave. But his parents were very worried
about him. |

One day there were two monsters under
my bed. They were green and pink. The pink
monster had a hundred arms and one eye. The
green monster had fourteen arms and ten
eyes. The monsters are brother and sister.
I used lettuce for bait in a jar.
When they smelled the lettuce they went in
the jar. I put the lid on the jar. I
picked up the jar and looked at the
monsters. The monsters were cute. I let them stay until the summer. They lived under my bed. They were really nice monsters, but then they became sad. They missed their mom and dad. They went home. 15 |

I was sleeping in my room, when I
heard a scratching noise. I looked at my
wall and saw a scratch mark on it. I hid
under my blanket for half an hour. Then I
saw a monster under my bed. It was blue
and slimy too!
So I made a big jar trap. The
monster came over to the jar. I cut the
rope and the monster was trapped in the
jar.
I made him my pet. I feed him every
day. I bought him six toys to play with.
He is a happy monster. |

purple and hairy. It has big pink eyes. I got
a snack and a jar. I put a snack in the
jar and trapped the monster. I had caught
my monster in a jar. I
named my monster Rose. She was my friend.
We played games together. |

One day I found three monsters. The
biggest monster was blue. The medium monster
was pink.
The little monster was purple. I found
the monsters in my room.
I set a trap for the monsters. I put up
a trap at my door. There were three chairs by
the door. When they went by the chairs a jar
fell on them and caught them.
I let the monsters go because they were
sick. They had the chicken pox. I hope they
got better. |

One day I sat on my chair and it
somehow started to shake. There was a
monster under my chair! He was blue with red
eyes. He had four arms, sharp claws, six
eyes, and white fur.
So I decided to catch him. This
was my plan. I got a jar, a stick, and
monster food. I put the stick in the jar to
make it stay up. Then I put the monster food
in the jar. I hid. The monster went in. He
hit the stick and the jar fell on him. Now
what will I do with him?
I taught him to do math. He was my
friend. We had fun together and became best
friends. |

One night I got hungry and I went
downstairs. I heard a creak. I looked up and
nothing was there. I kept walking and I saw
something white and pink. I walked closer and
closer and it turned on the light. It was a
little animatronic. It only had one eye and it
only had fur on its head. She told me her
birthday was March 19th.
I looked around for a jar. I got a jar. I
picked up the monster and it bit me. I dropped
it into the jar.
I sometimes let it out of the jar. I let
it look around. I let it sleep under my bed. It
is really not a bad monster. |

One night my family and I took a
walk. We were fine, but then we saw a
shadow. Next we saw a monster. It was a
big monster, a very big monster with six
eyes and six arms. It was dark purple and
hot pink. It tried to hurt us, but it did
not hurt us. We went home and we were
safe.
The next day we went outside and we
saw the monster. We
thought and thought.
“I got it,” I said with a smile.
“We can make a trap.”
But how I thought? Maybe we could
use a rope and a jar. If we tie the rope
around the jar and the other end of the
rope on a tree, we could untie the rope
when the monster comes. And that will trap
it. It worked! We captured the monster.
I made a machine that turned the
monster into a cat. I gave her food and
water. I took care of her. And I played
with her. I think she likes me. And I like
her too. |

monster went into the jar. Then the monster
got stuck in the jar. He was a green monster.
I asked the monster if he liked to ride
bikes. We went bike riding. We had fun. We
became good friends. |
