Owl and Mouse Alphabet Activities
   Pre-school children need to learn the names and sounds of  26 different letters—52 shapes,because the lower case letters only somewhat resemble the capital letters. This is why we try to make the letters of the alphabet as vivid and “real” as possible.  On this page are games and activities to help young students learn the letters.

Alpha Pig Paint by Number Game Paint game where when you identify a letter it paints part of the picture. Practices upper case, lower case, and mixed case.

Alphabet Bingo   There are three version of this game where you can match the upper case, lower case, or sound of the letter called.

Alphabet Match Children match the capital letter to the lower case letter to complete the board.

Alphabet Slider Game Students click and drag the puzzle pieces to complete the alphabet pictures. When a picture is complete the letter is pronounced sand associated with a word and a picture.

Alphabet Train Game This game helps children to put letters in alphabetical order.

Alphabetical Order Children learn alphabetical order in this fun educational activity. Put the alphabet in correct ABC order by clicking and dragging the letters.

Color by Letter  Color By Letter is designed to help kids identify English alphabets and at the same time get familiar with basic colors. In this interactive coloring exercise, kids must match each alphabet with its corresponding color using a letter-color key and color the picture according to the given directions. Kids will enjoy as they have fun with colors and practice their letter recognition skills. It will also help very young children to establish eye-hand coordination and develop cognitive skills.

The Letter After Game
Children find the letter after a letter in alphabetical order.

The Letter Before Game  Children find the letter before a letter in alphabetical order.

Trace to the Beat Letter and Number Tracing  Trace letters and numbers to the beat of music.  Arrows help guide the child to trace the letters correctly.  
 

Upper Case Alphabet Hopper  
In this reading game, children listen for a letter clue and jump in the correct mud puddle for letter recognition fun!
