a family.
NUMBER OF THE WEEK 13 Practice
Writing Number 13 Sheet Find 13 items in the house to count with
your child. Then practice writing the number
13.
SHAPE OF THE WEEK DIAMOND Diamond
Tracing Sheet
Practice drawing a diamond. You can print out
the tracing sheet or you can draw your own for
your child to practice on.
COLOR OF
THE WEEK BROWN
Create a brown collage with your child. Find
different brown items or color with different
brown items to create a collage of brown. Brown

Listen to the book, The Rainbow Fish,
and discuss the story with your child. Ask
him/her questions such as "Why do you think
the other fish didn’t want to play with
rainbow fish?" or "Why did rainbow fish feel
better after giving away his scales?
READING
ACTIVITY MERMAID TAILS
Work with your child to create and design a
mermaid tail! You can use paper, cardboard, or
a paper plate to cut out a triangle for the
tail. You can then use any of those supplies
to cut out a fin to glue or tape to the bottom
of the tail. Now you can help your child
color, paint, or glue items to the tail to

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES TAKE A WALK
Take a walk with your child and look for the
signs of spring such as flower buds or birds
singing.
