To go along with our read aloud this week the
students will be matching images of pajamas
based on their pattern designs. Throughout the
activity discuss the patterns similarities and
differences.

Listen to the book, Llama Llama Red
Pajama, and discuss the story with
your child. Ask him/her questions such as
"Why do you think Llama Llama yelled for his
mamma?" or "How do you think mamma felt when
she heard Llama Llama yell?"

CREATE YOUR OWN PAJAMAS
Pajamas Sheet
Help your child create their
own pair of Llama Llama pajamas. You can print
our pajama sheet or draw your own, and then
help your child cut it out. Next allow your
child to decorate the pajamas with any
supplies you have available such as crayons or
paint.

MATH CHALLENGE
NUMBER HUNT
Go on a number hunt in the house with your
child. Try to find as many numbers as you can
and identify them as you find them.

GERMS AND HAND WASHING

germs with your child. After the video discuss
why it’s important to wash our hands to help
stop the spread of germs.

BIRD WATCHING
Go bird watching with your child. Walk around
outside and see what types of birds you can
find and describe them with your child.

Today we will be talking about how to control
our emotions by using breathing techniques. We
will be practicing the technique called the
Balloon. The children will pretend to fill a
balloon and then deflate it. Practice this
