Bug Counting Game Play a counting game with your child by
adding 11 spots to a lady bug. You can print
out our lady bug sheet or draw your own. Using
any small items you have around the house help
your child place 11 “spots” on the ladybug.

Sheet Practice writing the word orange with your
child. Then allow your child to color some
orange pictures to become more familiar with
the color. You can print the orange coloring
sheet or draw your own.

Vegetable Soup, and discuss the story
with your child. Ask him/her questions such as
"How do you think we can grow vegetable soup?"
or "What types of food would you plant for
soup?"
READING
ACTIVITY PAPER PLATE FLOWER FRAME
Work with your child to create their own
flowers using a paper plate! If you don’t have
any paper plates you can always complete this
project using a piece of paper cut in a
circle. Assist your child in cutting out
“petals” on the edge of the plate. Then allow
your child to color the flower using any
materials you have around the house, paint,
crayons, markers, little pieces of paper, and
so on. If you want to turn your flower into a
photo frame glue or tape a photo in the center
of the flower. If you don’t have any printed
out photos you can always assist your child in
drawing a picture for the middle such as a
family portrait.
